It's been a slice...
Dear Made in Muskoka Christmas Patrons,
Thank you for choosing to “shop local” this past holiday season! By attending our show and purchasing handcrafted gifts, you supported the local economy and showed your appreciation for the arts community here in Muskoka. Your generous donations to The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation totalled $2181.95, and over the past four years, close to $6,000 has been raised at the doors of our show for this local charity.
As you can imagine, a great deal of effort goes into making an event the best it can be. As co-organizers of Made in Muskoka Christmas, we realized some months ago that the workload was too demanding for us going forward, and that we both wished to focus our energy in other directions. Taking these factors into consideration, we made the decision that 2016 would be the final year for Made in Muskoka Christmas.
Certainly the decision was not taken lightly, as our fellow craftspeople, charity interests and the community at large all benefited from our event. We have been proud to be part of something unique and special in Muskoka, but it is time for us to move on to other endeavours.
We hope that you will continue to support the fine craftspeople and artists of Muskoka whenever you’re looking for original items for yourself or as gifts. If you’re looking for one of the 2016 Made in Muskoka Christmas exhibitors, they can still be found on our Artists page and many more local craftspeople can be found on the Muskoka Arts and Crafts website.
